Emonios are configured by default to transmit energy measurement data to ProEmonio via telemetry. A license is required to store the measurement data on ProEmonio over an extended period of time. A dedicated license is required for each Emonio. To accommodate various use cases and the associated requirements, there are different plans that vary in terms of transmission interval, storage duration, and runtime. Further details are provided below.
Licenses can be purchased in the Emonio online store.
Emonios are shipped with the Default tariff. This allows customers to ensure that a connection to the server is established during a running measurement and that measurement values from the last 24 hours can be viewed.
If a license with a different tariff becomes active, the Emonio automatically adjusts its transmission interval and the data retention period on ProEmonio is updated accordingly.
If the license is not renewed or a different tariff is purchased, the Default tariff automatically becomes active again once the license expires.
The following table shows the different tariffs and the according parameters.
| Tariff |
Data resolution |
Retention period |
Runtime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default | 10 | 1 | unlimited |
| Advanced (Quartal) | 1 | 120 | 100 |
| Advanced (Year) | 1 | 90 | 365 |
| Basic 1 | 1 | 7 | 365 |
| Basic 10 | 10 | 90 | 365 |
| Basic 60 | 60 | 90 | 365 |
| Longterm | 60 | 400 | 365 |
| Standard | 1 | 30 | 365 |
| Test | 1 | 30 | 30 |
For the Advanced (Quartal) and Longterm tariffs, the storage period is slightly longer than the actual contract term; this is intended to allow for analysis after the runtime ends without losing measurement data from the start of the measurement period.
For all plans, except the Default plan, the 15-minute data points will continue to be stored indefinitely, as before. This makes it possible to draw comparisons over long periods of time.
The “License Overview” dashboard provides an overview of currently active licenses and the status of the various devices. The dashboard is located in the “Overview” shared group. It displays a table listing all devices, their respective plans, expiration dates, and license validity periods.
No!
We have decided against automatically renewing licenses, which would pressure customers into renewing. You will be notified of the end of your current license via email and a notification on ProEmonio 30 days, 7 days, and one day before the expiration date. This gives you enough time to decide whether you’d like to renew and purchase a new license.
If a new license is purchased while another one is still active, two scenarios may occur:
In both cases, no days from the current license are lost!
If you would like to activate a license with a different tariff immediately, please contact our support team at support@emonio.de.
When a CSV file is imported into ProEmonio, the associated data is stored for 30 days. This feature is available only for Emonios with an active license that have a plan other than Default.
